The Requirement: Two Spaces Built for Learning and Performance

School events bring together speech, presentations, music and stage performances. DPS Noida needed AV infrastructure that could support these activities across its 650-seat auditorium and 250-seat amphitheatre. The objective was to help teachers communicate effectively, make presentations easier to follow and give students a more engaging event experience. Both spaces needed equipment suited to their setting, audience and daily use.

The Design Challenge: Different Environments, Different AV Needs

An indoor auditorium and an outdoor amphitheatre place different demands on sound and displays. the auditorium required detailed visuals, audience audio coverage, performer monitoring and stage equipment. the amphitheatre needed a display suited to outdoor light, alongside audio equipment for open-air events.

The integration approach therefore had to address each venue individually while supporting the school’s wider programme of assemblies, academic events and performances DPS Noida.

The Solution: Auditorium Audio and Stage Equipment

Vallect installed audio and stage systems to support communication and performances within the auditorium in DPS Noida.

• Line array speakers for main audience sound
• Front fill speakers for the seating area nearest the stage
• Stage monitor speakers for performers
• Digital mixer for audio management
• Leksa stage lights
• Main, back and mid curtains
• Side wings

The speaker arrangement serves both the audience and performers. Stage lighting supports presentation and performance visibility, while curtains and wings help frame the stage and organise entrances, exits and scene changes in DPS Noida.

Indoor Visuals: A Large LED Canvas

The auditorium features an indoor LED video wall measuring 8,400 × 4,725 mm, providing a large visual surface for presentations, academic content and event backdrops.

Installed specifications:

• Pixel pitch: P1.25 mm
• Brightness: 600–1,000 nits

The fine pixel pitch supports detailed content, while the wide viewing angles help accommodate seating across the auditorium in DPS Noida.
