To meet this challenge, AIIMS Bathinda embarked on a comprehensive initiative to upgrade its facilities with state-of-the-art audiovisual systems, enhancing the educational experience for both students and faculty. Through collaboration with Vallect, the institute transformed its auditorium, conference hall, and lecture halls into tech-enabled environments, equipped with wireless presentation systems, video conferencing capabilities, and advanced audio reinforcement, fostering a dynamic learning environment conducive to collaboration, engagement, and knowledge sharing.
The implementation of these integrated AV solutions not only modernized the infrastructure of AIIMS Bathinda but also revolutionized the way education is delivered and experienced. With enhanced connectivity and interactive features, students can now actively participate in lectures, seminars, and collaborative sessions, while faculty members can seamlessly deliver content and engage with students both locally and remotely. Furthermore, the integration of stage lighting and stagecraft systems adds a touch of sophistication to cultural events and presentations, elevating the overall experience for students, faculty, and guests. To upgrade their facility & make it AV enabled, AIIMS had put faith in Vallect to design, upgrade & install audio visual systems in multiple spaces at their campus.
Auditorium AV Solution
The auditorium was designed to have the capability of presentations through laptops, computers, mobile phones and tablets using wired connectivity and wireless over network connectivity. The Audio-Visual system in the Auditorium is designed for presentation, teaching, video conferencing, live events and cultural functions. Auditorium is featured with a 13500 Lumens single chip DLP projector with a suitable lens for the projection on a 300” diagonal fixed frame projection screen at the front wall at 1 M height from the stage level.
For wireless presentation, the auditorium was equipped with a wireless presentation device for Bring your own-device operation (BYOD). For video switching, there is a multi-format presentation switcher cum scaler with built-in control processor.
In addition to this we equipped the auditorium with HD BaseT transmitter and receiver to transmit the signal over a single CATx type cable for lost signal transmission.

Audio Visual System - Conference Hall
The Conference Hall is designed for Meetings, Presentations, audio conferencing and Video Conferencing solution. To make the Conference Hall equipped for collaboration, a Video Conferencing system with a 6 Way Multi-Party license and a Full HD license has been installed.The Conference Hall is designed for audio conferences as well as local sound reinforcement. We have used 52 units of flush mount delegate microphone units for delegates for conducting meetings in the conference hall. The conference hall is also equipped with DSP & Acoustic Echo Cancellation feature to eliminate the audio loop and include adaptable noise cancellation to enhance the clarity and intelligibility of the meeting.
The equipments used for the conference hall would be, 5300 Lumens 3LCD Projector with 130” Diagonal Motorized Projection Screen, Multi-format All-in-One Presentation video switcher with built-in Scaler and Control processor , Control Keypad, HDBaseT Transmitter and Receiver ,DVD player, Video Conference System, Column Array Loudspeakers, Power Amplifier, Digital Signal Processor, Audio Conference Controller, Flush Mount Chairman and Delegate Microphone Unit, PoE Network Switch, Wi-fi Router/Access Point, HDMI, VGA, USB patch Cord, Cables and Bulk Connectors, Conduit and Raceways, Equipment Rack.
Audio Visual Integration for 154 & 254-Seater Lecture Hall Functionality
The main purpose of the lecture halls is to conduct presentations & lectures for the students.
With the help of LCD projectors, it will be engaging & interactive for lecturers to share content with the students, at the same time students can share their assignments with the class.
The equipments we would be using are:
5300 Lumens 3LCD Projector with 130” Diagonal Motorized Projection Screen, Multi-format All-in-One Presentation video switcher with built-in Scaler and Control processor,
Control Keypad, HDBaseT Transmitter and Receiver, DVD player, Column Array Loudspeakers, Surface Mount Speaker, Power Amplifier, Audio Mixer, PoE Network Switch, Wi-fi Router/Access Point, HDMI, VGA, USB patch Cord, Cables and Bulk Connectors, Conduit and Raceway.
The 245 seater lecture hall :
This lecture hall will have more seating capacity thus would need 5300 Lumens 3LCD Projector with 150” Diagonal Motorized Projection Screen.
In addition to this the lecture hall has Multi-format All-in-One Presentation video switcher with built-in Scaler and Control processor, Control Keypad, HDBaseT Transmitter and Receiver, DVD player, Column Array Loudspeakers, Surface Mount Speaker & power amplifier.
Stage Lighting & Stage Craft System
We designed Stage Lighting Concepts & controls for AIIMS auditorium by considering the following:
1) Lighting for the Live Performance.
2) Lighting for Drama / Dance / Singing & Multipurpose use.
3) Presentation and Speech.
4) Live Control through DmX for Lighting Fixture with Multiple universes.
5) Complete High end automated and intelligent lights.
6) RGB Illumination, Moving Head spot lights and High CRI Based Profile spots.
With Stagecraft, we provided elegant & a dramatic sweep of fabric across the stage. Draperies shall consist of main drape / main curtain made of a cloth having sheen, middle / rear curtain, Cyclorama, Wings, Frills, etc. to serve to hide props, equipment & the multitude of activities going on the stage. The purpose of the drapery is not only to decorate, hide but also to absorb light.

Education is changing dynamically & institutes like AIIMS play a key role in shaping careers for the best medical workforce in the country. To make the institute tech enabled is the need of the hour to maximise efficiency & effectiveness of the learning experience. AIIMS intends to have the latest technology into its classrooms & other spaces for students & faculty. AIIMS Bathinda being one of the most prestigious medical institutes in the country wanted to make their auditorium facility, conference hall, lecture halls AV enabled to ensure creating an experience for the students which can maximise quality learning. We had to upgrade around 50 classrooms, 5 lecture halls & an auditorium facility on the campus. Along With this for the auditorium, we need to provide Stage lighting & stagecraft system.
