Smart Classroom -Audio visual Integration at Biswa Bangla University
Biswa Bangla University commonly known as Bolpur University, is a modern liberal arts university that focuses on delivering high-quality smart classrooms, education in a variety of liberal arts disciplines. The primary goal of this project was to provide modern audiovisual solutions for the university's academic buildings, ensuring seamless collaboration and educational experiences in smart classrooms, auditoriums, boardrooms, conference rooms, labs, and meeting rooms. The project aimed to improve audiovisual infrastructure in six academic buildings, including classrooms, auditoriums, conference rooms, meeting rooms, ElV Solution, IT infrastructure and boardrooms.

Biswa Bangladesh University trusted Vallect to design, upgrade, and install audio visual equipment in various campus locations in order to modernise their facilities and make them AV enabled.
1: Pro Audio Visual Solution
Smart AV Auditorium with 500 setting capacity:
The auditorium was set up to accommodate both wired and wireless network connections for presentations made on laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. Its AV system was designed with live events, classroom instruction, video conferences, presentations, and cultural events in mind.
The auditorium design concept was intended to allow lectures, gatherings, and performances in a 500-seat auditorium. The space design took sightlines into account, allowed for plenty of circulation, and incorporated curtains, acoustic treatment, and a presentation podium with AV integration. The auditorium was outfitted with audiovisual equipment, enabling for easy integration of PTZ cameras. Using wired and wireless network connectivity, the auditorium was built to support presentations from laptops, desktops, tablets, and mobile phones and smart podium. For educating, presenting, holding live events, video conferences, and cultural functions, the auditorium's audio-visual system is intended.
Our designs and systems will enable the auditorium to offer the following services to the client:
- Video Presentation and Playback.
- Videoconferencing.
- Holding a cultural event.
- Live Video Capturing - Broadcast quality cameras (PTZ cameras) were used for live video capture, which is ideal for video conferencing, theater, live performances, education seminars, dramas, and musical concerts.
- Local Audio Reinforcement - can recreate the voice pickup and program audio content through the loudspeakers.

Smart Classrooms with the capacity of 46 setting
Giving presentations and lectures to the students is the lecture halls' primary function.
LCD projectors will make it interesting and interactive for lecturers to communicate information with the students, and they will also allow students to share their assignments with the smart classrooms.
The client requested a 46-seat smart classrooms suitable for presentations or lectures. The design incorporated a presentation podium with AV integration, furnishings, and audiovisual technology. Individuals with impairments had easy access, and the design was modern and professional. The project had to be completed within the price and time frame stated, and the deliverables included a installation, testing, commissioning, training materials, and an ongoing maintenance and support plan.
The audio signal in the deployed AV system was managed and processed by a multiformat system. Input devices, such as laptops and laptops, were connected to the wallplate transmitter, which served as a central hub for connecting them to the system. The multi-format presentation matrix switcher received signals from these input devices, allowing seamless switching between input sources. The wireless microphone system, including the Lapel microphone, captured the presenter's voice and allowed attendees to participate in Q&A sessions.
True diversity receivers processed the wireless audio signal, ensuring stable reception and clear audio output. The gooseneck microphone reduced strain on the teacher's voice, ensuring clear instructions for all students. All these complex designs and installations were completed smart classrooms on time with seamless execution by team Vallect.

AV setups in board and meeting rooms offer wireless audio, multi-format matrix switchers, and wireless microphones for clear input. Ceiling speakers balance audio output, LED projectors project visual content, and video conference systems enable remote participation in meetings. These modern solutions enhance communication and collaboration in professional settings. Vallect created comprehensive audio and visual systems that were easy to use with touch, such as a tablet put in the room.
2: ELV Solution
We deployed Extra Low Voltage is referred to as ELV. Generally speaking, an ELV system is any system in a building or infrastructure that runs at a voltage lower than the conventional mains voltage, which varies by location and is usually 230V or 120V AC. Systems covered by ELV solutions are numerous and include, but are not restricted to:
- CCTV Security Systems: CCTV systems are crucial in public security, monitoring and recording activities to enhance security and provide evidence in case of incidents.
- Fire Alarm Systems: These comprise emergency evacuation plans, smoke detectors, and fire alarms.
- PA systems: PA systems utilize speakers to make announcements, speeches, or music, providing clear audio coverage for live events, emergency announcements, and background music in various settings.
- Building Management Systems: These comprise energy management systems, lighting controls, and HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) controls.
- EPABX : A private telephone exchange, also known as EPABX, is a system that simplifies communication in offices, serving specific businesses or offices. It operates independently from common carriers or telephone companies, catering to the general public.
3: IT infrastructure
IT infrastructure Solution encompasses the hardware, software, networking components, and data storage systems essential for an organization's IT operations. It provides the foundation for processing, storing, and transmitting data, facilitating communication and supporting digital capabilities within the organization.
- IT Network : It is the backbone of an IT infrastructure, connecting devices and facilitating communication and resource sharing. It includes hardware, software, and protocols for efficient operation and security, enabling seamless connectivity and collaboration.
